OYW Eliminating Domestic Violence Survey

Thank you for your interest in our One Young World project on domestic violence; your input is invaluable and we really appreciate your time.

Many of you are familiar with the statistics on domestic violence. One in four women and one in six men are abused during their lifetimes. One in nine women are severely physically abused each year; two are killed each week. We also know that domestic violence costs the economy £1.9 billion per year.

This survey is the beginning of a project to work with corporate organisations to implement domestic violence policies in workplaces. If this is successful we hope to introduce these to communities across London, the UK and into our global OYW network.
