Warwick District Council provides car parks across the towns of Royal Leamington Spa, Warwick and Kenilworth. The way that we manage and operate our car parks is determined by our parking strategy.
In order to make our strategy relevant for the years ahead we have revised it to set out how we plan, over the next 10 years, to consolidate and improve our service to offer a consistent value for money for our customers and for the Council.
Warwick District Council’s corporate vision is to make Warwick District ‘A Great Place to Live Work and Visit’. Our car parking strategy for 2018 - 2028 aims to support this vision by adopting five key principles on how we run our car park service:
Key Principle 1 - Ensuring sufficient car parking across Warwick District
Key Principle 2 - Ensuring safe, good quality car parking options are provided
Key Principle 3 - Ensuring sufficient car parking to support Warwick District Council's key facilities and premises
Key Principle 4 - Pursuing opportunities to reduce the environmental impact of car parking
Key Principle 5 - Considering opportunities to support regeneration and development of town centres through alternative use of our car parking assets
We would like to hear your views on our proposed strategy. Your feedback will be used to inform the final car park strategy which is due to be considered by the Council's Executive in March 2018.
Please note: you do not have to complete the whole survey. If there is one or more particular principles you wish to provide feedback on, simply skip the pages until you reach the principle or principles you wish to comment on.
