These free workshops are a chance to find out what the Act contains and how community–led health organisations and other groups they work with can make use of it in order to take forward the sorts of things they want to do. As well as providing a general overview, the workshop will introduce you to:
- How community organisations can use 'participation requests' to start a dialogue with public bodies, including Health Boards, about things that matter to them.
- Provisions around asset transfer and community right to buy.
The workshops are being delivered by Community Health Exchange (CHEX)
Venues, dates and times will be set once we know the level of interest, and priority will be given to community-led health organisations offering to host a workshop for them and their partners.
Please register your interest below and we will be back in touch with you soon with dates and locations for the workshops.
If you have any questions please contact Andrew Paterson at CHEX on 0141 222 4837 or email andrew@scdc.org.uk.
