Interested to learn more about successful collaboration between museums and artists? Then join us at this study visit to the exhibition 'Mythology' at Brading Roman villa on the Isle of Wight.
Set within one of the finest Roman sites in the UK, Mythology is a major exhibition of new works by research-led artist, Howard Hardiman. Through digital drawing and storytelling, the work returns us to familiar stories in, perhaps, unfamiliar ways.

Participants will have the opportunity to explore the exhibition and to discuss its inception, development and realisation with artist Howard Hardiman and the museum's Chief Executive Adam Watson.
This opportunity is open to Accredited museums or those Working Towards Accreditation in the South East region.
Entry to the museum and a light lunch will be provided.

We can also meet travel costs up to a maximum of £60.00 to cover standard class travel on public transport or mileage at no more than the HMRC guidance rate of 45p per mile. Your museum will need to invoice for this, attaching evidence of expenditure, by 28 February 2016.

The study visit commences at Brading Roman Villa at 12.15pm. You may choose to make your own way there or we can offer a lift from either Southampton Central Station (meet outside South entrance at 9.30am) or East Cowes (meet outside White Hart Inn at 11.30am). Please note if you take a lift from Southampton you will not need your own ferry ticket as you will be counted in the CPO's car load.

The visit will conclude at 3.00pm, with lifts back to East Cowes (arriving approx 3.30pm) and Southampton (arriving approx 5.30pm)
