Would you be interested in attending free training - 8 week course

Lewisham Parent and Carer's Forum and Lewisham Local Authority are looking to run a FREE online 8 week course on non-violent resistance for SEND parents and carers in Lewisham.  We are asking parents/carers if they would be interested in attending the course and can commit to 8 weeks to enable them to receive the full benefit of the course. They would run once a week in the evening around 7pm and last for 90 minutes.


Core aims are of NVR are to:

• De-escalate and reduce conflict.
• Reclaim parents’ space in family home.
• Not relenting to child’s unreasonable demands.
• Helping parents to reach out and reconcile with their child

Once we know your interest we will be in touch with you to discuss further. 

Please note, we understand that not everyone likes to be seen on
screen/video/webcam and it is acceptable for you to attend but not to be seen if you do not wish to do so.
