Your High Street

Deal High Street was pedestrianised from South Street to Park Street in 1987. Since then, the retail area has continued to flourish against the general trend across the UK.
The quality of Deal High Street was recognised six years ago when The Daily Telegraph awarded it “High Street of the Year”.
To continue this retail buoyancy, Deal Town Council are now investigating the possibility of extending the pedestrianised area:
When: Saturdays only, 8am-5pm
Where: From Park Street to Union Road plus King Street
Deal Town Council would like to hear your views on the idea of extending the High Street pedestrian zone on a Saturday.
