2023 Pilbara Community Services Excellence Awards

PCSEA 2023 - Celebrating our Pilbara Stars in the Community Services Sector

The theme this year is "Celebrating our Pilbara Stars", with a focus on acknowledging and celebrating organisations and individuals who have gone above and beyond to DREAM, ENGAGE, OVERCOME and INSPIRE.

There are a number of organisation and individual award categories to choose from. You can nominate for more than one category but you need to complete a new survey for each category you are nominating for.

Please make sure you address the selection criteria outlined below in your response.

SELECTION CRITERIA

Outstanding Organisation (Small, Medium and Large) - Describe how the organisation has made a outstanding positive and lasting difference to its community through the programs and services it delivers. Provide details of the positive outcomes achieved.
Best Pilbara Organisation - Winners of each of the above categories will be put forward for this category.
Primary Health Care Collaboration and Partnership - Describe how the organisation has demonstrated commitment to improving primary health place-based outcomes for their community through collaboration and partnership. Provide details of the positive outcomes achieved.
Dream Award - Describe how the organisation has demonstrated innovation or creative thinking to meet changing needs in its community. Provide details of the positive outcomes achieved.
Engage Award - Describe how the organisation has demonstrated a collaborative or place-based approach to meet identified needs in its community. Provide details of the positive outcomes achieved.
Overcome Award - Describe how the organisation has demonstrated resilience and determination and adapted its programs/services to meet challenges and ensure continuity of quality services to its community. Provide details of the positive outcomes achieved.
Inspire Awards (Young Person, Senior, Volunteer, Indigenous Leader) - Describe how the individual has inspired others and made a positive difference in their community through their passion, commitment and leadership.
People's Choice Award - All nominations are eligible for this award. Voted on by the public.

To be eligible to nominate, you must meet the following criteria:

- Be Pilbara based and working/volunteering in the Community Services Sector.

- Have been in operation for at least 12 months prior to your nomination.
- Meet the Eligibility Criteria above for your nominated category.

Where: Esplanade Hotel, Port Hedland

The winners of each award category will be announced at the Gala Dinner

This will be a fantastic, all inclusive, evening of celebration, networking and entertainment.

Make sure you inform the nominated person or organisation of their nomination and encourage them to attend the Awards Gala Dinner.

You are encouraged to book your accommodation in Port Hedland early to avoid missing out as accommodation is extremely limited.
