Helping Residents see more of Edinburgh for less!

We at Forever Edinburgh – The Official Guide to Edinburgh, are committed to supporting the city on delivering a more focused approach on helping Residents enjoy Edinburgh’s unrivalled leisure and cultural offering.

Our Residents Rewards Edinburgh programme launched in 2021, and seeks to help City of Edinburgh residents explore more of their city for less, and re-engage with the cultural and leisure offerings in Edinburgh via an exclusive and unique monthly Rewards programme.

Now 18 months on and with enhanced funding, we are looking to expand the programme by adding more year-round exciting offers, available exclusively to Edinburgh Residents.

This questionnaire aims to provide us with a better understanding of the Reward types that are of most interest and value to you as an Edinburgh citizen.

The results will be used to inform our work and that of city-wide partners with a goal to diversifying and expanding the range of Resident Rewards offered, and to tailor them to the interests and needs of our residents.

Proposed New Resident Rewards Options:

  1. 'Resident Monthly Reward’: Continuing to deliver the successful high-value monthly reward, offering ONE high-value reward from ONE business each month.
  2. 'Resident Previews’: Similar to a press or media launch, but exclusively for Residents. Businesses launching new events, exhibitions or openings would invite residents to preview and enjoy the new product before anyone else.
  3. 'Resident Free Days’: On a quiet day in the month, residents will get to enjoy a selection of attractions, tours and experiences for free. This may be for a limited period of time on a certain day in the month or bi-monthly.
  4. 'Resident Annual Ticket’: When you buy an entry ticket, you get unlimited access for 12 months. This encourages you to make repeat visits (shorter but more frequent trips) and bring your paying friends and family without any cost to you.
  5. 'Resident Prices’: Residents are given year-round preferential rates to enjoy Edinburgh's attractions, tours, and leisure products.

We are now keen to understand what you already know about the current Resident Rewards Edinburgh programme, and how you, as a Resident, would like to see it develop so it becomes more valuable to you throughout the year.
