YouthLink Scotland has been working with Scottish Government, to strengthen collaboration between youth work and schools, as part of the Scottish Attainment Challenge.  This work identified a need to clearly explain the key skills that young people develop through youth work. This will help young people recognise their skills and support effective collaboration with schools and other sectors.  The Youth Work Skills Framework is the product of this work.

The skills framework was developed after a review of existing research and evaluations and we are keen to get your feedback.  We'd like to find out whether you think there are any skills missing, any that should be changed, how you might use the skills framework and what support you might need to use the framework with young people and colleagues in schools or other sectors.

Thank you
