Young Sussex Farmer of the Year 2020 - supported by Farmers Weekly

Welcome to the Sussex Food & Drink Awards 2020! We are seeking the very best Sussex food and drink producers and the outlets which support them and we need your help.

Our judges would like you to tell us who you think should be considered for an award and why. You can enter the awards yourself or on behalf of someone else. Check the criteria for each category - you may be able to enter for more than one award. Only one entry is required to be considered by the judges.

You can e-mail or send extra information in support of your entry to or post to Natural Partnerships, Ivy Cottage, Poynings Road, Poynings, West Sussex, BN45 7AG. (Please note, we will not be able to return any documents received by mail).

Entry will close on 3rd January 2020. Entrants will then be contacted by judges to participate in a shortlisting process. Please visit our website for more news

YOUNG SUSSEX FARMER OF THE YEAR - Our winner will be a young farmer aged 35 or under by end 2020. They can come from any sector within agriculture, horticulture or viticulture and must be involved in food or drink production. They could be part of the family farm (owned or tenanted), a student, an employee or self-employed. This young person should display the following attributes: vision; leadership; innovation, creativity, entrepreneurship; ability to incorporate new ideas and practices; ability to inspire others; and the desire to succeed and grow business.
