The #DeedsNotWords campaign is urging TEN ACTIONS to address the issues facing all women and especially those who are most vulnerable and at risk. Inpatients - ensuring that women in secure and other hospitals are safe and have a clear pathway to discharge and recovery Prisoners - supporting the 1 in 3 women currently in prison with a serious mental illness - and working to establish an alternative to prison for women in Wales Women in care - promoting the safety and quality of life of women in care including those with dementia Users of specialist mental health services - ensuring women in secondary mental health services have a high quality Care and Treatment Plan and access to effective treatment, including psychological therapies Users in primary care - promoting psychological therapies and challenging the default use of drug treatments for anxiety and depression - and confronting abuse which leads to mental health problems Eating disorders - improving the support available across Wales and increasing local service provision Young women and girls - ensuring they get timely and effective health and wellbeing support from GPs and Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services - and from schools, youth groups, etc. Mothers - providing local specialist perinatal services across all areas of Wales Carers - supporting women carers to be effective in their caring role and to enjoy a good quality of life and wellbeing All women - looking out for each other and looking after our mental health both in work and at home Question Title * 4.
