Thank You for Sharing Your Views on the Flu Vaccination

Influenza (The ‘flu’) is a common infectious illness that for most healthy individuals is usually an unpleasant but self-limiting disease.  However, for older people or those with underlying health conditions there is an increased risk that the flu will lead to serious complications. In order to help protect this population, the NHS recommends that they obtain a flu vaccine each winter. This vaccine can be obtained from GP surgeries or participating pharmacies from October each year.

Bath & North East Somerset, Swindon and Wiltshire are working together as a Sustainable Transformation Partnership (STP) to improve the health and wellbeing of the population.  One of the areas of focus within the partnership is to look at ways to increase the uptake of flu vaccinations amongst people with long term health conditions, particularly those under 65 years old.

We are keen to better understand what may prevent or encourage this population from getting the flu vaccination so that we can develop ways to promote the vaccine and make it easier to obtain. We would be very grateful if you could kindly complete this questionnaire. It should take no more than 5 minutes. This is an anonymous questionnaire and the data will not be linked to any individual.
