About this survey

We’re Mind, the mental health charity. We believe that everyone with a mental health problem deserves support and respect and we are delighted to be working with your child’s school on our whole school approach to mental health.

Your child’s school is one of 17 secondary schools in England and Wales piloting our exciting new way of looking after the mental health of everyone involved in school life.

Our whole school approach is designed to support the mental health and wellbeing of each school’s workforce, its pupils and of course parents.

Our approach aims to help everyone involved in your child’s school to look after their mental health, cope more easily, better manage stress and maintain supportive relationships.

We have been delivering services in your child’s school. Now we have nearly delivered a years’ worth of activities, we’d like to see the impact of our work through this confidential survey.

We’re asking everyone involved in school life from each of our 17 pilot schools to take part, including pupils and parents.

You can tell us what you think about what your child’s school does to support mental health and wellbeing in this survey. It’s also an opportunity to tell us about your own mental health and wellbeing, which will help us to understand if there are things we can do to better support you as parents.

Please encourage other parents you know to take part in the survey. The more responses we get, the more effective our help will be.

Thank you very much for your support in shaping this long-term initiative which is set to help thousands of people for many years to come.

Best wishes,

Louise Clarkson
