We last carried out a review of Scotland’s youth theatre sector in 2015 and a lot has changed since then!

So our 2020 Sector Review will help us to know what position the sector was in collectively before COVID, which we'll compare to the results from our last sector review in 2015. This will help us to identify how we're developing as a sector, and how we can develop further. We're also bolting on a mini review of the impact of the pandemic, which will help us with shorter-term advocacy and support.

This survey is open to all groups who use drama or performance in their work with young people and it should take around ten minutes to complete. The results will be published online in November.

We’ll ask you questions about your group for the year April 2019 – March 2020’– just give us as much as you can.

To thank you for your time we will invite you to enter a prize draw to win £50 cash on a pre-paid card.

The small print

In this survey we will ask you to provide the name and contact details of your organisation, along with information about the way that you deliver your work. YTAS will hold this information in a database for internal analysis purposes and will only share information from this database at an aggregated sector level.

At the end of the survey you will be asked to provide your name and email address if you would like to enter the prize draw. However, we will not link your personal details to your answers for analysis or reporting purposes. Please find more information about data protection and your rights in relation to this survey here.
