Have your say:  help us plan our future

This winter is an exciting time for the Trust, during which we have been looking at who we are as an organisation and what we want to achieve in the future.

This survey is an opportunity for you to have a say on some of our initial ideas.  We would really appreciate it if you could make time to complete this survey by 8th December.

Question Title

* 1. How are you involved with the Trust?

Please tick the box that best describes your relationship with the Trust

Question Title

Our Vision - We want everyone, regardless of age or circumstances, to feel secure, have opportunities & to thrive.

Our Mission - We offer people in need access to opportunities, hope and a place where they belong through the provision of quality housing, care, education and support.

Do you think that our proposed vision and mission statements reflect the aspirations we should have and the role we should play as a Trust?

Question Title

* 3. We want to hear what you think about our proposed Vision and Mission.  Is the language we use friendly, is it aspirational, does it represent us as a Trust, what would you change etc.?

Question Title

* 4. Our proposed VALUES:

Personalised – because no two people are the same;
Dignity – because everyone is worthy of honour and respect; Innovation – because we are original and creative in our thinking; Excellence – because we want to be recognised for providing quality services & support;
Honesty – because we are transparent and accountable in all that we do;
Fun – because we want to be a great place to work and receive support.

Do you think these values describe the culture we need to create to deliver excellent services?

Question Title

* 5. Over the next 5 years, we are going to be ‘Building on Strong Foundations’ by working across 5 areas.

1. To be a leading provider in Birmingham and Solihull:  We will raise our profile and work more in partnership & collaboration.

2. To help more people:  We will initiate a long term development and expansion plan for our sheltered housing provision, support more older people in the community, grow a range of new services and opportunities across Birmingham and Solihull to support far more people affected by poverty, particularly young people and we will look at how we can best support carers.

3. To maintain financial sustainability and to grow:  We will expand the places our funding comes from, make better use of the assets we have and ensure that our services are efficient and sustainable.

4.  To be the best we can be:  We will ensure that our services are of the best quality, that we recognise the expertise of people who use our services, that we make the best use of digital technology and ensure that all we do promotes and recognises the value that equality and diversity brings to our organisation.

5. To be an employer of choice:  We will ensure that we are well led and that we value and invest in our workforce so that they can achieve the best outcomes for the people they support.

Are the five areas we have identified the right ones?
