The Council is currently carrying out a review of Polling Districts and Places, in line with the Representation of the People Act 1983.

The aim of the review is to:

a) Seek to ensure that all electors in the constituency have such reasonable facilities for voting as are practical in the circumstances
b) Seek to ensure that so far as is reasonable and practical, the Polling Places that we are responsible for are accessible to all electors with a disability

At present, the Council is gathering relevant information which will inform the formal consultation, will start on 14/5/19 for a period of 5 weeks where stakeholders will be invited to comment on individual proposals.

To inform the process we would like to hear about your most recent experiences of using a polling station. Thinking about the last time you visited a polling station, please answer the questions below.

If you are a County, District or Parish Councillor you may have more than one polling station in your ward. As such, you may wish to make comments using more than one survey.

Full details of the review can be found at:

Please note that your personal details are being collected in this survey and may be published as this is required as part of this legislation.

Please view the Council’s Information Charter and Privacy Policy for more details about how the Council looks after your personal information. Survey Monkey has their own Privacy Policy, therefore is also recommended that you also view Survey Monkey's Privacy Policy
