Gating Orders with Public Space Protection Orders

The Anti-Social Behaviour, Crime & Policy Act 2014 replaced Gating Orders with Public Space Protection Orders (PSPOs) and made provisions for existing Gating Orders to convert to PSPOs in October 2017. As with all PSPOs these orders have a duration of 3 years and the council is currently reviewing and consulting on a number of existing gating PSPOs with a view to re-implementing those considered still required to protect communities from anti-social behaviour.

A 28-day consultation is being carried out from 1 August 2020 to 28 August 2020 and we would like to hear from anyone who agrees or disagrees with the provisions set out in the draft orders. The gating PSPOs being consulted on are:

Coneygree Road and Scott Close
Goodacre
Welland Close
