New Matterdale Education and Community Centre Proposal

MSF Trustees continue to be keen to get the views of Matterdale residents about the updated plans for the new Education and Community Centre so would ask you to complete this short ( 3 min ) survey as your response.

 

The hall has been redesigned as a result of the COVID outbreak to align with the available budget and not rely on external funding. This has resulted in a reduced scheme which still aims to achieve a Passivhaus standard of performance to make the hall exceptionally comfortable, healthy, and efficient to operate. It is intended to have the Centre grid connected but also with the provision to generate electricity on site with Photovoltaics initially, and potentially a small wind turbine to make the centre Net Zero Carbon in operation.
