Context

We are the strategic voice for community safety in Scotland and through working collaboratively with our members and partner agencies we work so that:

- Leadership is improved across the community safety sector
- Community Safety is valued and integrated across relevant policy areas
- Our members feel they are able to deliver their community safety outcomes and have the support from us that they need


To achieve these aims we provide a range of services which inform local and national delivery including:

Knowledge Exchange – sharing of practice through case studies, thematic papers and research papers
Learning Events – a range of learning events and Masterclasses delivered by experts in their fields
Guidance and Toolkits – including briefing papers on current and emerging national developments and resources to support partnerships in planning and evidencing impact
Conferences and Conversations – covering a range of cross-cutting issues and national initiatives
Forums and network meetings – to encourage information sharing and networking within the community safety sector
Communications – across a range of communications publications and channels, including our Safety NETworks newsletter, Community Safety Media Monitor and social media - we share information on SCSN services, community safety news & initiatives, funding opportunities, national consultations, research and other publications and lots more.
