As part of the process of opening a free school, the Department for Education requires a consultation (under Section 10 of the Academies Act 2010). This is an opportunity for interested parties to share their views.

Please note that this consultation is not related to any building or planning applications surrounding the new school. It is solely to consult on whether appropriate persons support the Cornwall Education Learning Trust to enter into a Funding Agreement with the Secretary of State for Education to run Newquay Primary Academy.

This is an important step in our journey to opening in September 2021 and we are looking forward to listening to your views in order to provide the best academy for your children.

This six-week consultation period will run from 5th October until 16th November 2020. Please return your completed questionnaire before the end date of the consultation.
