What is the purpose of this study?
The purpose of this survey is to understand your ideas about virtual reality (VR) usage during flights. The survey will ask a series of questions about your typical behaviour while travelling by air followed by questions and images of VR usage during a flight.  You do not need any previous experience with VR to participate.

The survey includes 9 virtual reality scenarios.

What are the possible benefits of participating?
This survey will help us to design better VR applications for use during flights.  Your responses will be used to develop new VR concepts that may eventually be used in commercial VR applications.

What happens at the end of this study?
The results of this study may be published in a journal or used for teaching purposes. The results may also be presented at scientific meetings or in talks at academic institutions. Results will always be presented in such a way that data from individual volunteers cannot be identified.  As part of our commitment to open research practices, we will make all of the anonymised data publicly available at the end of the study.

Can I withdraw from the study?
Your participation in this research project is voluntary, and you may withdraw from the research at any time and for any reason, without explaining why.

Can I ask questions about the research project?
You may ask more questions about the study at any time - before, during and after the study.  Use the contact information provided above if you have any questions.
