New for 2016 - Chartered Management Degree Apprenticeship Programme at Hertfordshire Business School

BACKGROUND

The University of Hertfordshire is one of the first universities in the UK to launch a ground-breaking Management Degree Apprenticeship offering an exciting work-based route towards developing professional Chartered Managers.

This brand new government-approved apprenticeship is aimed at driving productivity and business growth by boosting the number of professional managers in the UK.

Under the scheme, employees who complete the apprenticeship will earn a degree in Management, become eligible to be a Chartered Manager and member of the Chartered Management Institute (CMI).

The Degree Apprenticeship Programme is eligible for up to two thirds government funding towards the cost. It provides employers with a unique opportunity to attract, develop and retain the workforce of tomorrow.
In addition, the Government recently announced the introduction of a levy on large employers to help fund 3 million new, high quality apprenticeships.
