Welcome

The St Andrews Heritage Museum and Garden displays objects and stories relating to the local history of the town of St Andrews within the historic Museum building on North Street. The Museum aims to provide enjoyment and education for local people and visitors to St Andrews and to support research into the town’s history through the wide variety of collections it cares for.

Exciting plans are underway to extend, enhance and develop the Museum. We are aiming to improve the visitor experience through a new exhibitions programme, re-imagined displays, new facilities and improved access. We are very proud of our Museum – which enjoys the support of a dedicated volunteer workforce – and want to encourage more, and new, visitors to this ‘hidden gem’ within the town.

While we prepare for this development project – the biggest that has been undertaken in the history of the Museum – we are very keen to hear your thoughts and ideas.

The survey will take around 10 minutes to complete - thank you very much for your time.
