PCH E-Signup - Resident Involvement

PCH E-Signup for Resident Involvement is a new service for our residents who are interested in getting involved with PCH.

At PCH we realise the importance of resident involvement. We aim to create a variety of opportunities for all residents to be involved in a way that is convenient for them. We have created many different ways to get involved. So if you can only spare a few moments on an online survey or an few hours in a focus group, or whether you like to be involved online or in face to face groups, we have something that may be of interest.

This online form will enable you to quickly tell us what you are interested in and enable us to keep you up to date with relevant opportunities.

By being involved you can meet new people, learn new skills, improve your neighbourhood and PCH services and have your say on key, city-wide decisions. We will also send you updates on surveys, feedback on consultations and information on involvement opportunities across the city. We regularly do online surveys and polls on social media. You can normally find them via our website or Facebook Page. These options take up a small amount of time and enable you to get involved from the comfort of your home on a mobile, tablet or computer.

By signing up to the PCH E-Panel you will automatically be sent updates each time a city-wide survey starts. You will also be sent invites to focus groups and events via text or email so you never miss a survey or involvement opportunity. We have a variety of opportunities that may come up in your local area. These kind of opportunities take up a bit more time but are a great way to meet your neighbours and bring about improvements in your neighbourhood. Have a look at the list below and tick any option that peaks your interest.

Make-a-difference days – One off days that bring local residents, staff and other organisations together to clean up neighbourhoods and talk about local issues. (We can provide funding to support this.)

Events and projects - We can work with you to organise a fun day, a trip or a longer project.

Focus groups - Come along to a group session with other
residents and members of staff to give your views and ideas for one of our services.

Residents groups - A chance for you to talk about the local issues that are affecting you and your neighbours. We can help with setting up, grants, advice and guidance where needed. There are a number of groups which provide social activities.

Armchair Advisers - Help us from the comfort of your own home – check our documents are easy to
understand and email, call or text your ideas to us

IT Tester - Test new digital equipment/apps and give feedback to PCH (subject to availability)

Mystery shoppers and reality checkers - Be part of our team of trained residents and test our services. You can shadow and
interview our staff and other residents as well as run a focus group.

Board members - As a Board Member you will be involved in key decisions that will affect PCH and our
residents across the city.

Spends and saves - Residents help us to decide which contractors we use. We provide training so you can help us with shortlisting, interviewing companies and site visits.
