River Gaunless For People For Wildflife

The River Gaunless project aims to reconnect local people from South West Durham with their river; rediscovering its natural, cultural and industrial heritage which is at risk of damage and loss and turning it into a  community asset. The project has included working with local communities, volunteers, young people,  schools and local community organisations to deliver a wide range of activities to engage local people, increase knowledge of the river and improve the habitats of the River Gaunless.

We would now like to gather your views on what the project has acheived and the differences it has made to indivduals and the community.
