The charity AWA DANCE (Advancing Women’s Aspirations with Dance) in collaboration with Coventry University’s C-DaRE is embarking on its first research project exploring the dance leadership landscape of the UK dance sector. We are collecting public data on Artistic Directors, Executive Directors and Board Members of Nationally Funded Organisations in the UK. We want to complement this quantitative data with lived experiences of women in the sector. We hope to collect 100 voices of women in the UK dance sector by Sunday 26th February.
 
The full research will be published at the end of March 2023. The more voices we collect the better our understanding will be of the matter. We also expect to publish an academic output on data justice as part of this research.
