Repeat Medication Ordering - In October 2018 the ordering of repeat prescriptions was transferred to West Lancashire CCG - Prescription Ordering Direct (POD).  The POD is a clinical hub with local medicine co-ordinators who are qualified to deal withy prescriptions and are qualified to offer medication advice.

* 2. Appointments - GP Online Appointments

We actively promote online access and now have over 2275 patients registered for online access.  This relates to 33% of our total registered population and shows an increase of 10% on last year's figure.

We now promote this service to all new patients as part of our registration process.  We continue to receive requests to include the ability to book appointments with our Practice Nurses, unfortunately we are still unable to do so due to the complexity of the timing of various health checks and procedures required.

Extended Hours Appointments - We are currently part of a scheme across West Lancashire to offer extended hours appointments.  This service includes pre-bookable GP, Practice Nurse and phlebotomy (blood tests) appointments available evenings and weekends at various locations across the West Lancashire are.

* 6. Online Summary Medical Records Access - We have the facility to offer online access for patients to view their own medical records.  To enable us to provide this facility patients need to complete the consent form available from the Practice.
