The shortage of affordable housing is one of the biggest challenges the UK faces. Latest research from the Institute for Fiscal Studies revealed that, even if they managed to save a 10% deposit, approximately 40% of young adults would not be able to buy one of the cheapest homes in their area. Solving the housing crisis is therefore a domestic priority for all political parties.

This survey aims to understand the effects of the availability and affordability of housing on businesses throughout the UK. The questions are intended for those within your business who have an understanding of your employees, your recruitment and your benefits policies. There are three sections to complete:

2. Local infrastructure to support your workforce
3. Business incentives and benefits to address housing issues

Please do forward the survey on to the individual within your business who will be best placed to answer such questions on behalf of your organisation.

This survey consists of approximately 20 questions and should take no longer than 10-15 minutes to complete. Please note it must be completed in one go.

The closing date for the survey is Tuesday 27th November 2018.
