Application form

Launched in 2015, the GSCC aims to both support and challenge botanic gardens to work outside their garden walls to collect, bank and conserve seeds of threatened species towards target 8 of the Global Strategy for Plant Conservation. There are currently over 180 institutions involved in the GSCC working to conserve threatened plant species. In order to celebrate success, the GSCC will award gardens that excel at seed banking, while encouraging other gardens to get involved.

Gardens can self-nominate for 3 awards. Does your botanic garden;

1. Conserve the most useful species?
2. Conserve the most difficult species to collect?
3. Conserve the rarest species?

If so, then please complete the following application form to ensure that your garden is eligible for the GSCC Awards.

Step 1. Fill in your contact details
Step 2. Choose the category that you would like to apply for
Step 3. Let us know what the species is
Step 4. Tell us why this species and your institution should win!
