What is this survey about?

The World Health Organization emphasises the need to prevent and manage NCDs using a life course approach.

We are interested in hearing from representatives from organisations that focus on the prevention and treatment of NCDs about a) their views on the life course approach (including if they have ever heard of this term) and b) their experiences of adopting this approach into implementing health services, advocacy campaigns, research, policymaking, and/or other projects.

 Who is conducting the survey?

The UK Working Group on NCDs conceived, designed, and disseminated this survey and will analyse the survey findings. The working group is a network of over 20 UK-based national and international NGOs and research organisations, which work together to draw attention to the urgent need to address the burden of NCDs as an international development priority. It is a member of the NCD Alliance.

Representatives from three organisations within the working group are leading data collection for this survey. These are the Global Alliance for Chronic Diseases, NCD Child and Worldwide Hospice Palliative Care Alliance.

How will you use my data?

The three organistions listed above will conduct data analysis and will review all survey responses, including personal data such as your name and email address. It is optional to provide these personal data.

Anonymised, aggregated data will be shared with other working group members and with the general public during the dissemination of findings from this survey. Anonymous comments made during the survey may be quoted verbatim in these reports.
