Dear Parent/ Carer

This year, Sir John Cass will be participating in the School Trailblazer Project. This national project is part of a wider government initiative to improve the mental health and emotional wellbeing of young people. Funding has been made available from NHS England for localities to better develop this work within schools.

Our school will be working in partnership with colleagues from THEWS (Tower Hamlets Education Wellbeing Service) this will provide us with an opportunity to review the ways in which we currently address and support the emotional wellbeing of our students and staff. It will also enable us to improve the immediate and longer term social and emotional wellbeing of young people, parents and all school staff through a sustainable whole school approach to emotional health and wellbeing.

In order to assist us with a school audit, we would be grateful for your help in completing this short and anonymous survey. The results will be used along with a staff and student survey to identify our priorities for developing our approach to the emotional wellbeing of the school’s community.

If you would be willing to complete the survey, we would be grateful if you could do this by Friday 13th March 2020

Many thanks,

Vicky Jech - Assistant Head
Nicki Regan - Deputy DSL
