Welcome to the Wiltshire and Swindon victims of crime survey for 2021

The Wiltshire and Swindon Police and Crime Commissioner is responsible for victims of crime across the county. This survey, created and managed by TONIC (an experienced company in public sector consultation) gives a voice to all victims and survivors, regardless of whether you have reported the crime or accessed any support. The results of this survey will be used to inform future commissioning about needs and experiences of services, and improve support for all victims and survivors in future.

1. Only TONIC and Wiltshire and Swindon PCC have access to the data that is collected.

2. The survey is completely anonymous, and we will not ask for any identifiable details from you.

3. The data collected from this survey will be used to help the PCC understand your experiences of crime in Wiltshire and Swindon and assist them in improving responses to victims and survivors.

4. All data associated with this survey is kept securely on encrypted servers in accordance with the GDPR requirements.

5. The questions are a mix of multiple choice and free text options. It takes around 15 minutes to complete and asks you relevant questions based on your answers.

6. You don’t have to answer every question and can leave the survey at any point.
