West Midlands - Public Cancer Screening Survey |
We are a team of public health specialists working with the West Midlands screening and immunisation team at NHS England / NHS Improvement – Midlands, to find out the reasons why some people do not respond to cancer screening programmes across the West Midlands.
The aim of screening programmes is to identify the very early stages of cancer and treat people at a stage that the cancer is very likely to be cured.
The cancer screening programmes in West Midlands we are addressing are:
1. Breast cancer screening for women aged 50-71 years
2. Cervical cancer screening for women aged 25-64 years
3. Bowel cancer screening for men and women aged 60-74 years
Our aim is to gain a better understanding about what may encourage people to participate in the screening programmes.
Please ask people to answer the following questions. You can ask the questions individually or in groups.
