One+all | We Care Awards 2018 Survey

Care+Compassion: We are looking for nominations of teams and individuals who actively promote a culture of safety and quality. They will listen and act on feedback from patients and colleagues to ensure outstanding care. They will see the person in every patient and always communicate with honesty and compassion.

Inspiration+Innovation:This category is for teams or individuals who are always looking to learn, develop and improve. They will welcome new ideas and use their initiative to solve problems collectively. They will value research and education as a way to improve services.

Working Together: Acknowledging those who are making an outstanding effort to create a positive team spirit. They will involve stakeholders, colleagues and partners to improve services. Their team will have a sense of shared purpose, taking collective responsibility to resolve problems as well as recognising and celebrating success.

Pride+Achievement: For teams and individuals who take a real pride in their work and always go the extra mile. They lead by example and ensure that quality is at the heart of everything they do.

Trust+Respect: A category that recognises those who are respectful and considerate to other people’s views and feelings. They will understand and support equality and diversity in their working practices. Even under pressure this team or individual will give time to support patients or colleagues. They will respond to situations professionally and calmly and be a positive role model for individual or collective leadership.

NHS70 Lifetime Achievement: We are looking for outstanding individuals (current or former members of staff or volunteers) who have made a significant contribution to patient care and safety, in acute services in Cornwall, over the last 70 years. This could be developing services, innovations, research or exceptional care or leadership.
