Wasabi- a strikingly green plant with a distinctive flavour! Commonly known as the green paste (Japanese horseradish) that accompanies your sushi. Wasabi belongs to the Brassicaceae family and is widely grown in Japan. As Wasabi is a difficult crop to grow, it is believed that Wasabi has never been successfully cultivated in Europe until now.

Let me introduce you to The Wasabi Company.

The Wasabi Company are big watercress growers and they have been growing watercress within Hampshire and Dorset since the 1850's. It was in 2010 when a chef visited their farm and commented on how the only other crop they had seen grown in similar conditions was Wasabi in Japan. With the seed planted and a lot of research, the owners started to cultivate their own Wasabi using abandoned watercress beds. Two years later after trial and error they produced their first Wasabi crop.

To share their success on how the company and their Wasabi product range continues to expand, The Wasabi Company is giving one lucky winner the change to win one of their amazing Wasabi Mega Freaks Gift Sets.
