The CRISPR2024 meeting will be held in New Zealand and is being organized by:

Peter Fineran – University of Otago, NZ

Dipali Sashital – Iowa State University, USA

Gavin Knott – Monash University, Australia

Bridget Watson – University of Exeter, UK

 

This meeting follows on from meetings in Würzburg (2023), Boston (2022), Paris (2021 online), Quebec (2019) etc.

As part of our organizing we are seeing feedback on possible dates to host the meeting. This will be the first time that the meeting is held in the southern hemisphere. This survey should only take a few minutes.

* 3. Please indicate your preferred times for the meeting. Note the following implications:
· Jun-Aug in NZ is winter with temperatures typically from 0-10C.
· Dec-Feb in NZ is summer with temperatures typically from 10-25C.
. Flights and accommodation in summer (especially Dec) will be more expensive, due to holiday/Christmas travel.
· A summer meeting in 2024/2025 could mean that next CRISPR meeting (venue to be decided) should perhaps be hosted in 2026 (rather than Jun/Jul 2025).
