National SEND Employment Forum Supported Internship Research Project |
Provider Survey
The National Special Educational Needs and Disability Employment Forum (NSEF) has been successful in acquiring support from Imperial College, London to complete a piece of research on the quality and quantity of Supported Internships across the UK. Your submission to this research would be gratefully appreciated.
Our aim is to create a database of providers from that will be accessible on our website, as well as creating a national picture of where Supported Internships are being provided and where there are gaps in provision. We will then use that information to create forums and networks of support to allow every young person with SEND access to a good quality Supported Internship programme.
We have liaised with the Department for Education Preparing for Adulthood Team and the information contained in this survey will be anonymised (apart from the region you are located in) and shared with them. By submitting a completed survey back to us you are consenting to us sharing the anonymised information contained within it with the Department for Education.
If you contribute to this survey you will receive a copy of our final report.
As we are also creating a directory of provider information that will be published on our website, if you wish to be included in the directory please fill out Question 30 of this survey. The answers you provide to Question 30 will be published on our website in full.
If you have any questions about the survey or how the results will be shared please contact jo.haswell@nsef.co.uk, louise@chance2be.co.uk or uf18@ic.ac.uk
