School Re-Opening Survey |
Welcome to this Survey on Your Feelings About a Potential Return
This survey us not binding, but is designed to help schools plan provision. It would help us if you could complete it for each child you have in a Transform Primary School. It is very brief and should not take more than a couple of minutes.
The base-line conditions we ask you to consider are as from the DfE on Monday 11th May. In summary
- Children to be taught in groups of no more than fifteen. This probably means we cannot have every child in every day.
- There will be strong emphasis on hand-washing.
- One way systems to be introduced, but there is expected to be little risk from passing in corridors.
- Face masks are not to be worn by either children or adults.
- Test, track and trace will be expanded as rapidly as possible.
- Staggered start and finish times.
- Children from different 'pods' of fifteen not to mix with others. Different play times etc.
- No whole school gatherings.
- No temperature testing.
- Recognise that 2m distancing is not possible with children.
- Tables and other contact surfaces etc. to be washed daily.
- Remove soft toys etc. that cannot easily be washed.
- People on the highest level of shielding, i.e. those who had the NHS letter should continue to stay home.
- Children with such an adult at home should continue to stay at home.
- Children and adults, showing symptoms of COVID-19 are not permitted to attend.
These remain hypothetical and do not constitute a promise from schools.
We have no information regarding the likely requirements and availability of PPE, Handwash etc.
