About the project
Now that our open day is over we are now recruiting 14 – 18 year olds to become members of our Youth Music Council, Amplify! Don’t worry if you were unable to attend the open day, you can still apply by filling out the Survey Monkey. We will then shortlist applications based on what you write below.
Amplify aims to connect young music-minded people from across Lancashire to make decisions about the future of music education and activities inside and outside of school. We want applications from musicians of all types and all levels of experience, whether you play in a band, sing in a choir, perform with an orchestra, create beats on your laptop or write songs in your bedroom.
The project will run from July – November 2018 with an opportunity to attend and speak at a national music conference in November. If selected, you will be among a group of like minded individuals passionate about musical opportunities in Lancashire.

The first two sessions will take place on Tuesday 10th & 17th July. We will then get back together after the summer holidays for weekly sessions beginning Tuesday 11th September.
