Introduction

West of Scotland Housing Association is preparing a Green Strategy which will set out how we will play our part in tackling the climate emergency that we all face. You can read a summary of our proposed Strategy on our website (link to follow).

Before we finalise our Strategy and seek approval from our Board we are keen to hear the views of our tenants about their views on our proposals. We would appreciate if you could complete the following survey which should only take a few minutes.

Objective 1 - Reduce waste, energy consumption and harmful emissions by improving the efficiency of service delivery and office management (for example replace all office base and community centre lighting with timed and/or motion sensor low energy LED fittings and bulbs)

* 4. Objective 2 - Improve/enhance the environment of WSHA communities through investment in green infrastructure (For example  assist community groups to obtain funding to improve the natural environment and enhance green infrastructure)

Objective 4 - Improve the health and wellbeing of WSHA staff and customers by raising awareness and changing behaviours in respect of the climate emergency, and by offering opportunity to positively contribute to the environment (For example deliver staff and community workshops focused on upskilling and raising awareness on how to save energy, recycle and reduce carbon footprint)
