We are delighted to announce the Employers Network for Equality & Inclusion (enei) Inclusivity Excellence Awards 2022. Applications will close Friday 19th August 2022 at midnight. Shortlisted applicants will be notified by the end of August 2022 and will be required to provide evidence to correspond with their submission. There are two categories of recognition, Winner and Highly Commended.
 
This year, there are nine award categories to choose from:
 
1. Innovative Approach to Diversity, Equality, and Inclusion - This award recognises an organisation that has found creative and innovative ways of embedding Diversity, Equality and Inclusion (DEI), rather than relying on conventional approaches. We are looking for organisations that have introduced new workplace standards or best practices that others can be inspired by and aspire to. 
 
2. Inclusive Culture - This award recognises an organisation whose Diversity, Equality and Inclusion (DEI) work has transformed their culture, wherein individuals can truly be themselves at work. 
 
3. Progressive, Agile, and Flexible Working Practices - This award recognises an organisation that has embraced and embedded an agile and flexible approach to how, where, and when people work, prioritising talent over traditional working practices. 
 
4. Driving Social Mobility and Social Inclusion in the Workplace - This award recognises an organisation that has taken effective action to include and progress individuals from disadvantaged backgrounds into its workforce, thereby playing a role in social mobility and social inclusion in its community or communities.

5. Enhancing Wellbeing and Belonging at Work - This award recognises an organisation that has taken extensive and sustainable action that has significantly improved the awareness, wellbeing, and sense of belonging of its employees. 
 
6. Putting Intersectionality into Practice - This award recognises an organisation that has taken an intersectional approach to inclusion, ensuring that employees’ multiple characteristics and identities are understood and included in decision-making, informing and improving their Diversity, Equality and Inclusion (DEI) strategy and practice. 
 
7. Closing the Pay Gaps - This award recognises an organisation that is actively taking steps to reduce pay gaps. Entrants do not need to have fully closed their pay gaps, but must be able to demonstrate progress across different protected characteristics.  
 
8. Employee Network Group of the Year - This award recognises employee network groups (or employee resource groups) that have added value in improving Diversity, Equality and Inclusion (DEI) in their organisations. The award is open to network groups across all strands of diversity. 
 
9. Diversity, Equality, and Inclusion Influencer of the Year - This award recognises an influencer who has made a significant contribution to improving the culture within their organisation and wider networks. The individual will have clearly demonstrated their commitment to Diversity, Equality and Inclusion (DEI) and the positive impact they have made. This award is not restricted to DEI practitioners or senior leaders, it could be anyone who has made a significant and positive contribution.
