Nominations

We will be recognising achievements over a range of commercial fishing categories. Each category will result in an award presented at the Fishing News Awards ceremony in Aberdeen on May 16th 2019.

You can enter on behalf of a friend, colleague or organisation. You can also nominate yourself.

Each category has strict criteria, and you will be asked to provide information in support of your nomination. The more you tell us about why you've nominated your choice,  the better. We will also require their contact information, as we will need to get in touch with them. If you need to leave the survey to find that out, don't worry, you can come back at any time and complete it – just don't click 'Done' until you've finished.

All nominations must be received by midnight on Tuesday, 12th February, 2019, and the shortlist will be confirmed shortly afterwards, when voting opens.

Voting will then open to determine the winners of 10 of our categories. The remaining four categories – Port of the Year,  Young Fisherman of the Year, the Sustainability Award, and the Lifetime Achievement Award – will be judged by Fishing News Awards panels comprised of industry peers, authorities and advisors, selected for their expert, objective and independent views.

If you only want to nominate in one category, please fill in section one, 'About You', and then skip to your preferred category.

Please do not nominate the same person in the same category multiple times. Duplicate nominations will be excluded.

Once you have nominated in your chosen categories press the 'DONE' button to submit them to us.

If you have any issues with the form please email shows@kelsey.co.uk

We appreciate that some of the data we ask for can, in certain circumstances, be sensitive and confidential. We understand that any information included is supplied on a confidential basis, and will not be used for any purpose other than judging.
