Consultation

Under sections 59-75 of the Anti-social Behaviour, Crime and Policing Act 2014, local authorities have the power to make Public Space Protection Orders or PSPOs.

PSPOs allow local authorities to better control how public land is used by dog owners and balance this with wider uses of the area.

As part of the process of making PSPOs the Council is consulting with various groups and organisations that may be affected.
