Welcome to the NFWI's survey on cervical screening

Thank you for participating in this survey, which is expected to take around 20 to 25 minutes to complete.

All women and people with a cervix aged 25 and over who live in England, Wales, Jersey, Guernsey, or the Isle of Man are invited to take part in our survey. There is no upper age limit. It doesn’t matter when you last attended cervical screening, or if you have never been – we’d love to hear from you.

Your responses will enable us to call for any changes that are needed to ensure that more women have the best possible experience of cervical screening, and feel able to attend when invited.

This survey is part of an ongoing WI project on cervical screening. We recognise that NHS services are currently adapting to cope with the CV-19 crisis and are under significant pressure. The findings of the research will inform the WI’s work to improve cervical screening programmes once health services are back on a normal footing.

The more responses we receive, the greater the impact this research will have so we encourage you to share this survey with friends and family and to promote it widely.

Participation in this research is voluntary, and all responses will be kept confidential.

In support of the WI’s cervical screening campaign, 5 Minutes that Matter, anonymised statistics and anonymised feedback provided in response to open ended questions may be shared in NFWI publications, WI Life (the WI’s magazine), on our social media channels, with external partners, media, and policy makers.

Unless provided by you in an answer to an open ended question, and we have obtained your permission to do so, you will not be identifiable in any way from your responses.

The survey will close on 12th October.

If you have any questions about this research, please email the NFWI’s Public Affairs team at pa@nfwi.org.uk

Thank you for your time – we really appreciate your feedback.
