🌍 Our Vision
In 2018, the UK produced ~6.6 million tonnes of food waste from within households.

We're building our tech for a future of accurate food freshness predictions so you can say goodbye to fixed Use-By dates. We've partnered with WRAP (climate action NGO) to get real world input… from you!
✨ The Tech we'd like you to test

📱 BlakBear Food Management App - monitor food freshness & track your environmental impact 🌱
🍯 The HoneyBox - a smart food freshness container with sensors which detect gases from food as it spoils
⚖️ Bluetooth scales (which we'll supply) - Place under your bin to measure your food bin weight during the mission

Your input will help train our AI to make accurate predictions on how fresh your food is… saying goodbye to fixed use-by dates!

Our tech is to be returned to us in all its glory, at the end of the trial. Don’t worry, we will set up returns for you.

- Download our App & Discord
- Place the scales (that we'll provide) under your bin - we’ll analyse your normal food waste data to develop our tech
- Complete 3 surveys

Phase II - HoneyBox & App
- Store food in the HoneyBox and explore the App - we want to see how you interact with our products.
- Complete 3 surveys
