The World Health Organization (WHO) and other experts are creating a global plan to defeat meningitis by 2030. This first meningitis roadmap will tell governments what actions to prioritise to defeat meningitis.

Group B Strep is the leading cause of bacterial meningitis and sepsis in newborn babies. It's one of the four key causes of meningitis identified by the WHO in their new global plan.
