The Advertising Association and its members are positioning the UK as the world leader for advertising and marketing communications services in readiness for the challenges of Brexit. Working in partnership with the Department for International Trade (DIT) through the Promote UK Group, we are aiming to support and grow exports for advertising and marketing services, encourage inward investment for those same companies and secure access to the best talent possible.

Key to this strategy’s success is collecting the right metrics to measure performance alongside identifying areas where more support is needed. The following survey has been designed to contribute to this process and will provide a vital insight into our sectors’ performance, both at home and abroad. It should be filled out by someone with an awareness of your organisation’s export levels, client base and workforce. It should take approximately ten minutes to complete and only one person from your organisation need fill it out.

If your business is owned, in full or in part, by a parent or holding company, please answer all questions on behalf of your UK business and your subsidiaries only - not your parent or holding company.

The data collection is being overseen by Karen Fraser, Head of Strategy at the Advertising Association. Karen is an MRS Certified Member and will ensure the survey is undertaken in accordance with the MRS Code of Conduct. Any data collected will be held in line with the Advertising Association’s privacy policy (https://www.adassoc.org.uk/about-us/our-privacy-policy/) and GDPR. The results of the survey will be shared with DIT and the Promote UK Group at an aggregate level.
