The Government has officially launched its new £2bn Kickstart Scheme, which aims to create thousands of new jobs for young people. You don't have to be a member of the Chamber to access the scheme.
 
Under the scheme, employers, in both North Wales and West Cheshire, can offer a six-month work placement to young people aged 16 to 24 who are claiming Universal Credit.

The Government will fully fund each “Kickstart” job placement - paying 100% of the age-relevant National Minimum Wage, National Insurance and pension contributions for 25 hours a week.

Employers will be able to top up this wage, while the Government will also pay employers £1,500 to set up support and training for people on a Kickstart placement. To express your interest in offering a Kickstart placement, please fill in the details below;
