Covid-19 vaccination clinic at South London Islamic Centre - Saturday 10th April 1.45pm to 5pm

On Saturday 10th April 2021 from 1.45pm to 5.00pm, our team from Edith Cavell Surgery will be running a pop-up vaccination clinic at South London Islamic Centre, also known as Streatham Mosque (8 Mitcham Lane, Streatham, SW16 6NN) with the Oxford/AstraZeneca COVID-19 vaccine.

No appointment necessary – simply walk in to South London Islamic Centre between 1.45pm to 5.00pm on Saturday.

Who can have the vaccine?

Anyone aged 50 and over
Anyone aged 18+ who are categorised as Clinically Extremely Vulnerable
Health and Social Care Workers
Carers

People aged 18 or over with any of the following AND who have not yet had their 1st COVID-19 vaccination:

a blood cancer (such as leukaemia, lymphoma or myeloma)
diabetes
dementia
a heart problem
a chest complaint or breathing difficulties, including bronchitis, emphysema or severe asthma which has resulted in a hospital admission previously
a kidney disease
a liver disease
lowered immunity due to disease or treatment (such as HIV infection, steroid medication, chemotherapy or radiotherapy)
rheumatoid arthritis, lupus or psoriasis (who may require long term immunosuppressive treatments)
have had an organ transplant
had a stroke or a transient ischaemic attack (TIA)
a neurological or muscle wasting condition
a severe or profound learning disability
a problem with your spleen, example sickle cell disease, or you have had your spleen removed
are significantly overweight (BMI of 40 and above)
a severe mental illness such as schizophrenia or bipolar affective disorder

You should NOT attend this clinic if:

You have had a dose of the COVID-19 vaccine already
You are not in any of the groups listed above
You have had COVD-19 in the last 4 weeks
You have or have had any of the COVID-19 symptoms in the last 4 weeks (fever, new continuous cough or loss of smell or taste)
You ever had a severe life-threatening allergy to a vaccine
You have had any other vaccines in the last 7 days
You have been given the COVID-19 vaccine as part of a trial
You are under the age of 16
You are or could be pregnant now
