Enterprises Inspired by Permaculture Survey

The Permaculture Association and Kingston University are working together on a new research project, Knowledge Exchange for Entrepreneurship in Permaculture (KEEP), funded by the Institute for Small Business and Entrepreneurship (ISBE). This project seeks to learn from enterprises inspired by permaculture in the UK and to share that learning with those who wish to set up new enterprises in the near future.

We have identified over 200 permaculture inspired enterprises in the UK and we are sending you this survey because you are one of them. We would be very grateful if you could take ten minutes to complete this survey so we can get a good insight into the nature of your enterprise.

Later on in the project we will be selecting enterprises for interview and as case studies, running a number of events to meet with existing and potential permaculture entrepreneurs, and creating a guide to setting up a permaculture inspired enterprise. The project will help deepen the understanding of permaculture enterprise in the UK and support the creation of new enterprises in the near future.

We know that many enterprises inspired by permaculture are sole traders with only one employee, and maybe not full time. If this describes your situation we are still very keen to hear from you.

We promise to store your answers securely and we won't share them with anyone outside the project.

Thank you for completing the survey,

Marfuga Iskandarova, Audley Genus and Chris Warburton Brown
